This event was graced by the presence of General SHS Kottegoda WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc, the former Secretary of Defense and Commander of the Army, along with his wife, Mrs. Sonia Kottegoda, the Chief Supervision Officer of Senehasa and former president of Seva Vanitha unit. Further, a former Commander of the Army General RMD Rathnayake WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc, Mrs. Damayanthi Ratnayake, the former president of Army Seva Vanitha and Mrs. Uthpala Hettiarachchi The president Sri Lanka Light Infantry Seva Vanitha unit also participated in this significant occasion. The children participated in singing Christmas Carols which resides in our hearts with a rhythm of festive times. The teachers and parents also took part in singing Carols. Sumptuous lunch was served for children and parents, and this grand lunch sponsored by Cinnamon Grand, Colombo and served by their friendly staff, bought smiles to every face. Also gifts were distributed to the children by Senehasa making the event memorable and joyful. As the day drew to a close, a warm glow remained, fueled by the spirit of Christmas and the shared joy of the celebration.
