Commencement of work for the New Year 2022 was officially declared by Mrs. Sonia Kottegoda, Chief Supervising Officer of Senehasa Education Center and Brigadier MAR Gunasekara RSP Commandant of the Senehasa Education Cente, with the hoisting of the National Flag and the flag of Senehasa on 03.01.2022.

The National Anthem and the Army Anthem were sung and a two-minute silence was observed in memory of the war heroes who sacrificed their lives for the country. Afterward, all Officers and other ranks of the Institute pledged to uphold the Oath of Public Servants.

To conclude the event, all staff were invited to partake in the traditional morning tea by the Chief Supervising Officer and Commandant of the Institute.
