Colonel GGR Madugoda USP, the Commandant of the Senehasa Education Center, along with Lieutenant Colonel KDCJ Siriwardane RSP USP, the Head of Academics, inaugurated the official duty commencement for the New Year by raising the National Flag and the Senehasa Flag on January 1st, 2024. The war heroes who laid down their lives for the country were honored with the singing of the National Anthem and a one-minute silence. Following this solemn tribute, all members of the Institute, including Officers and Other Ranks, reaffirmed their commitment to uphold the Oath of Public Servants. At the Senehasa auditorium the Chief Supervision Officer Mrs. Sonia Kottegoda addressed the staff emphasizing the proper execution of duties and the significance of carrying them out accurately in the New Year. A customary tea party was held for the staff at the end of the occasion.
