The event was organized by the Chief Supervision Officer of Senehasa Mrs. Sonia Kottegoda and the Commandant Brigadier Raja Gunasekara with the support of the staff of Senehasa.

A token of appreciation was presented to Mrs. Theekshana Samaraweera, Mrs. Thilini Rangala (Advisory Committee), Mrs. Supipi Malwatta and Mrs. Nileshi Jayasena (Teachers) who are providing their valuable services in a voluntary capacity.

The event concluded with the faculty displaying their talents in aesthetics by performing a song and dance items. The children of the center also sent greetings from their homes to their beloved teachers' to express their gratitude on the occasion of Teacher's Day.
