A program was organized on 25.01.2024 Duruthu Poya Day, at Bellanwila Rajamaha Vihara Premises to facilitate the sale of products and designs crafted by Special Needs Children who are undergoing vocational training at the Senehasa Education Center. They have offered various items such as Oil Lamp Wicks, Greeting Cards, Flower Pots, Wrapping Papers, Paintings, and Hand Crafted Items, all of which were made available at reasonable prices. The primary objective behind this endeavor was to foster social interaction for these children with special needs, while also providing them with a platform to showcase their talents and receive recognition. Mrs. Sonia Kottegoda, the Chief Supervision Officer, Colonel GGR Madugoda USP, the Commandant of Senehasa Education Center, Lieutenant SN Fernando, the Officer in charge of the Vocational Training Section, and the parents of the participating children were present at the occasion, to motivate and inspire the children.
