The Academic Staff of Senehasa Education Centre had the opportunity to participate in an exceptionally informative training program on January 26th, 2024 which was conducted by Miss.Upeksha Dissanayaka, the esteemed director at Blooming Wings Creative Art Centre. Miss. Upeksha is a trailblazer in training teachers within the special needs education field and possesses extensive knowledge in this relevant area. The training session took place at the Senehasa auditorium and consisted of a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical activities. It proved to be highly valuable in enhancing the essential communication and instructional competencies required by teachers and care givers when interacting with Special Needs Children. The Chief Supervision Officer Mrs. Sonia Kottegoda, along with the Commandant and all the officers from the Senehasa Education Center, actively took part in this event.
