Small hands can change the world. Every child is different and talented. Coincide with the world Children’s Day, Art and Crafts Exhibition was held on 4th October 2023 at Senehasa Education Recourse Research and Information Center. The exhibition show cased students to express their talents in colorful way. Chairman Ranaviru Seva Authority, Maj Gen (Retd) DSNK Senadeera was the chief guest of the event and many distinguished guests attended. The event also consisted of a magnificent magic show and entertaining events which made the children happy. The spectators commented highly on various aspects for their activities of Art and Crafts along with their performances at the event.

Sumptuous full course menu was sponsored by Shangri-La Hotel Colombo. Ms. Madhusha Pihilladeniya,Mr. Sujeeva uhanovita and entire staff dedicatedly attended and served the Children, parents and staff very patiently.
The Children were excited to participate such a grand spread and the parents commented highly of the dedication and commitment of the staff who served the children. The Chief Supervising officer, Commandant and the entire staff really appreciated this great occasion which the children wouldn’t have experienced before.
PRIMA
Mr.Ranjan Amarasinghe the principal of Prima Bakery School. Mr. Channa Aththanayake and Mr. Ranga Abeykoon Organized a training session for the children of SERRIC to make Muffins. The Staff along with the children from the Vocational Training Section participated in making muffins along with the Chefs The finished product was served the guests by the children. The Prima gave their fullest corporation for the above event.
THE NESTLE LANKA (PVT) LTD
The Nestle Lanka (PVT) Ltd gave 600 cups of Nestamolt to the children, parents and staff of SERRIC on this day. The mobile service provided by Nestle Lanka came to the premises and dedicatedly served the children and the guests. It was a very refreshing drink at the time of the rain. The children immensely enjoyed the Nestamolt.
